Mangalam Stones

You will find us located at the Panchyat Samithi area, right behind the railway station. It is a very busy spot because of the trains coming and going all the time. The sound of the whistles and the tracks is something we hear all day long. Being Mangalam Stones, we have a lot of heavy material sitting around the yard. The ground is usually covered in a bit of stone dust, and our boots are always gray by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Most of the stones are kept outside where people can see them in the natural light. It is a very practical setup. We have a small shed where we keep the paperwork and take our breaks. The sun can be quite brutal in the afternoons since there isn't much shade in the yard, but we just wear our hats and keep going. People often use the railway station as a landmark to find us, which makes it easy. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the trucks to helping folks pick out what they need for their projects. It is physical work and it can be tiring, but it is what we do. There are no big marketing plans or complicated systems here. We just try to stay organized and keep the yard in decent shape. It is a regular local business where the work speaks for itself, and we just keep at it daily.
