Subhadra Engineering Works

Subhadra Engineering Works operates out of Chatra in Purba Medinipur, and we also have a connection to the Kaikatti Pudur post area in the Tirupur District. It is a bit of a spread-out way to do things, but we manage. Our workshop is where the real work happens. It is full of metal scraps, tools, and the sound of machines running. It is a greasy, loud environment, but that is what engineering is about for us. We don't wear suits here. Most of us are in work clothes that get dirty by ten in the morning. We take on all sorts of repair and fabrication jobs. It isn't a high-tech lab; it’s a practical shop where things get fixed or built by hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is just part of the life here. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk into the shop. We keep our own books and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when a machine breaks down and needs a quick fix. We are just a local engineering team doing what we know how to do. There is no corporate polish here, just hard work and metal. We take the jobs as they come and try to do right by them.
