We are located at number 1, Pillayar Koil Street in Marandahalli. If you know the area, you know it’s a small town in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. The street is named after the temple, so there are always bells ringing or people walking by on their way to pray. It’s a very local atmosphere. Our office is just a simple building where we handle the daily operations of the organization. Marandahalli is a quiet place, not like the big cities, so things move a bit slower here. We spend our mornings cleaning up the office and then getting started on the paperwork. There is a lot of writing things down by hand and keeping track of who is coming in and out. Since we are on the ground floor, people often poke their heads in to ask questions or just to say hello. It can get very hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a long break when the sun is at its peak. We don't have much in the way of high-tech equipment, just the basics to get the job done. The walls are painted a simple white, and we have a few ceiling fans that never seem to stop turning. It’s a very honest way to work, being right in the heart of the town like this. Most of the people we deal with are locals from the surrounding villages who come into Marandahalli for their business.
