We are located over at the V.R.S. Complex on Pattamangala Street in Mayiladuthurai. People usually look for us on the sixth floor at unit 6/F6. It is Al Shafar General Contracting. We do the work that needs doing here in the Nagai district of Tamil Nadu. It has been a while since we set up this office. We handle the local side of the business that coordinates with the main side in Dubai. Most days are busy with paperwork and calling people. It is not a fancy office, just where we get things organized every morning. Sometimes the stairs are a lot when the lift is acting up. We have got a small crew here. We deal with the practical side of general contracting. We do not really do big flashy talks. We just focus on the projects and the blueprints. The weather here in Mayiladuthurai gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. People in the building know us by now. We do not have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. Sometimes the courier guys get lost finding the right unit, but they eventually figure it out. It is messy work sometimes with all the papers flying around. We are just a reliable group that gets the projects moving. We work closely with the headquarters in Dubai, so there is always something to update or check. It is just a job like any other, really.
