We are situated in T. Nagar, Chennai. The specific spot is 11A, Anna Street, and it is handled by A. Parthasarathy. T. Nagar is always crowded and noisy, which is just how Chennai is most of the time. Our office is part of the India Today Group. We have a lot of people coming in and out because of the nature of the work. It is a busy place with plenty of phones ringing and people talking. Anna Street is a narrow lane so parking can be a bit of a nightmare for the staff. Most of us take the bus or a bike to get here. The office itself is full of desks, papers, and coffee mugs. We don't have a fancy lobby. It is more about having space to sit and write or talk. The heat in Chennai can be tough in the afternoons, but we have some fans and AC to keep things manageable. We have been here for a while and we know the local tea stall owners pretty well. It is a typical work life where we show up early and leave when the job is finished. We handle news and media stuff, so there is always a sense of being in a hurry. It is not a relaxed place but it is an honest one. We just do our bit in the middle of all the Chennai chaos and try to get home before the rains start.
