We are located at 121, Thiruvalluvar Street in Aranthangi, which is in the Pudukkottai district. The Pin code is 614 616. It’s a typical street in a Tamil Nadu town with lots of cycles, local shops, and people walking by at all hours. Our office is a simple building right on the street. Even though we have a connection to the group in Abu Dhabi, our daily life here is very much about the local community in Aranthangi. The office is small and practical. We have some wooden chairs for visitors and a few desks where we handle all the administrative work and phone calls. It can get quite hot here in the summer, so the ceiling fans are almost always running at full speed to keep us cool. We’ve got a small cupboard where we keep all the files and a jar of biscuits for when the afternoon hunger hits. The street outside can be quite noisy during the market hours, but we’ve grown used to the sounds of the town. We know most of the people on Thiruvalluvar Street, and there’s a sense of being part of the neighborhood. We don’t go in for anything fancy or modern. Our focus is just on keeping the records straight and making sure everything is running as it should. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work. We usually close up early in the evening and head home. It’s a simple life for us here in the district.
