We are based out of Karur, Tamil Nadu, specifically on Alamaram Street. Our office is at 33-B/71, which is where S. Rangarajan manages the daily affairs for Metal Furniture (Nig) Ltd. It might seem a bit confusing with the names, but we’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. The street is named after the big banyan tree, and the whole area is quite busy with small trades. Our building isn't anything special to look at. It's just a functional place where we keep the records and handle the furniture business. We don't have air conditioning throughout the whole place, so the fans are always spinning to keep the heat away. It gets very warm in this part of India. We mostly deal with local furniture needs and some larger orders that come through the Nigerian side of things. We aren't trying to be a fancy showroom. We just sit at our desks, take the calls, and make sure the orders are moving along. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks or cows, and you just have to wait. That's just how life is here. We don't have a big marketing department or polished brochures. We just talk to our customers directly. It's an honest way to do business, and it's worked for us for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office door is usually open to catch whatever breeze we can get throughout the long afternoon.
