Reangluang Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based up in Longmai, which most people know as Noney, over in the Nungba Subdivision. It is a beautiful part of Tamenglong, but the farming can be quite tough because of the hills. We are a group of organic farmers who decided to pool our resources together under the name Reangluang. Most of us have been farming these hills for our whole lives, just like our fathers did. The difference now is we are trying to be more organized about how we sell our crops. We don't use chemicals because we live right on the land and drink the water here. It wouldn't make sense to poison it. Our office is a simple place in Noney where we gather to talk about the harvest. Sometimes the road to Tamenglong gets blocked by landslides, which makes our job very difficult. We have to plan everything around the weather and the terrain. We grow a variety of things depending on the season. It is a lot of walking up and down the slopes. We are not a big corporation with lots of money. We are just a bunch of neighbors working the soil.
