Sundram Motors

We've been over here on Bali Amman Koil St for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Chennai. Most days you’ll find us under the hood of someone’s car or chatting with the regulars who drop by. Sundram Motors isn't fancy. We have the tools we need and a bit of grease on the floor. People know where to find us because we stay put. Dealing with traffic around here is enough of a headache, so we try to keep things simple when you bring your vehicle in. It's mostly about getting the job done so you can get back on the road. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it's quiet enough to have a tea. We know the neighbors and they know us. The shop has its quirks, like the door that sticks if you don't pull it just right. It's just a regular place where we work on engines and try to keep things running. We don't have a big waiting room with fancy coffee, just a couple of chairs. If you’re looking for the spot near No 45, that’s us. We see a lot of the same faces every month. It's just how it goes in this part of town. We keep the tools organized, mostly, and just get through the daily list of repairs. Nothing more to it than that. Just a bunch of us working on cars in the heat.
