I Speed Machine

Our place is located out in Sholavaram on Amman Koil Street in Nallore Kanur. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main city areas but it’s much quieter out here. The shop is at number 114 and we have been working from this location for some time. We deal with machines and various parts mostly. Every morning starts with the sound of the temple nearby which is quite peaceful before the work starts getting loud. The street is narrow so trucks have to be careful when they pull up to drop off supplies. Inside the building, there is always a bit of grease and the smell of metal. We don’t really have a big front office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workspace and a small desk where we keep the ledger. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy but we manage to keep the shop running. Most of the guys here live nearby so we all know each other well. We sit out front during the lunch break and watch the animals wander past. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We focus on getting the repairs and machine work finished so the customers can get back to their factories or jobs. The fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking noise but we’ve gotten used to it by now. It is just a standard local business trying to do things right in Sholavaram.
