Sara Leahters

Our shop is located at 86, Bajanai Koil Street in Pammal. If you walk down the street, you can’t miss us because of the distinct smell of leather that hangs around the entrance. Sara Leahters has been in this part of Pammal for many years. The workspace is a bit of a mess with scraps and tools everywhere. It’s not a showroom; it’s where the actual work happens. We have a few old machines that make a lot of noise, but they are better than the new ones we’ve tried. The lighting is a bit dim, but we know where every tool is kept. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy office. Most of us have been working with our hands since we were young. Bajanai Koil Street is always busy with people and bikes. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming, but it’s the life of the area. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the materials, do the work, and make sure it’s done right. The floor is stained with oil and dye, and the walls are covered with sketches and notes. We don't have a fancy mission. We just show up every morning, work until the sun goes down, and try to do a decent job. It’s just how things are done here in our little corner of the street.
