We are situated at No. 104 on the 2nd Main Road in Sathya Nagar. This part of the Padi Ambathur Industrial Estate is always noisy. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. If you walk into our shop, you’ll see guys in work clothes covered in a bit of oil or dust. It is just the nature of what we do here. Precise Moulds And Dies isn’t a place for people who want to stay perfectly clean. We work with our hands and the machines all day long. The air is thick with the smell of coolant and cut metal. It gets hot in the middle of the day, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the estate. Most of us have been working here for years. We know the machines better than we know our own cars. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find whoever is available. Sometimes we have to shout to be heard over the grinders. It’s busy and it’s loud, but it is what we do. We just focus on getting the moulds right and making sure the dies are ready when they need to be. It’s a tough environment but we have gotten used to it over time.
