Being located in Phase II of the MEPZ zone means we have to deal with the security gates and the official protocols every single day. It’s a bit different from a regular street-side shop, but once you get inside to D-3, it’s just another factory floor where people are working hard. Mercury Manufacturing has been operating out of this unit for quite some time. The space is filled with the sound of assembly lines and the occasional chatter of the workers during their lunch hour. We don’t really go in for big speeches or polished presentations. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and making sure the shipping containers are packed properly. It’s a fast-paced environment because of where we are, but we try to keep things grounded and practical. The air conditioning in the office area sometimes struggles against the heat coming off the production floor, but we make do. We’ve got a good group of people here who understand that the job needs to get done without a lot of fuss. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just make the products, check them over, and send them out the gate to wherever they’re headed. It’s a steady rhythm that hasn't changed much over the years, and we’re fine with that. I guess you could say we just like to get on with it and get home.
