Classic Mould &Dies

We are located at Sp 56 on the 3rd Main Road of the Ambattur Industrial Estate. Classic Mould & Dies has been in this neighborhood for quite some time now. Our shop is focused on making moulds and dies, which means a lot of precision work with steel and other metals. It’s a bit cleaner than a foundry, but we still have our fair share of oil and metal dust everywhere. The 3rd Main Road gets pretty crowded with trucks and tempos during the day, so it’s always lively. We have a couple of lathes and milling machines that are almost always running. The guys here have steady hands, which you need for this kind of work. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby; you just walk right into the workspace. It can get pretty humid in Ambattur, and we usually have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just take the drawings people bring us and try to make the parts match up. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, especially if the material is tough. We just deal with things as they come. It’s a quiet life of measuring and cutting. Most of our customers are regular shops from around the estate who know we do decent work.
