Aura Leathers

You can find us on the first floor at 6 Angalamman Koil Street. We are right in the Nagalkeni part of Chrompet. This area is pretty well known for leather work, so we fit right in with the rest of the neighborhood. Aura Leathers is a busy place where the smell of materials is always in the air. We have a few workbenches and some machines that run for most of the day. The street outside can get quite narrow, especially when trucks are trying to unload. It’s a lively part of Chrompet and there’s always something happening. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of people who know how to handle the materials. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying heavy bags. We keep our windows open to let the breeze in, though it gets quite hot in the summer months. Most of our day is spent cutting, measuring, and checking the finish on different pieces. It’s a lot of physical work and our hands usually have some marks on them by the end of the shift. We’ve been in Nagalkeni for a while and we like being part of the local community here. It’s a practical business and we just take things one day at a time. The work is steady and we just keep moving along through the week.
