Al-Hayatt Radiators

You can find Al-Hayatt Radiators over on Thirumudivakkam Road at No. 90. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks and vehicles moving around all the time. Working on radiators is a messy business. There is always coolant or water on the floor and our clothes usually have some kind of stain on them. It’s just the nature of the job. Having been in Thirumudivakkam for a while, we know the local drivers and mechanics quite well. When someone brings in a radiator that’s leaking, we just get to work and fix it. Fancy waiting areas with a TV aren't really our style. There are just a few stools and maybe a newspaper if it’s a slow morning. Most of our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need to do. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the shop because it would just get dirty anyway. It is a very straightforward place. Because the trucks start moving early, we open up early too. Sometimes we have to work outside if the radiator is too big or if the shop is full. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't talk much about the work itself, we just fix the thing and give it back to the owner. That’s how we’ve always done it here, day after day, without any complaints.
