Interstone Interlocking Tiles

Our tile works is based in Village Makhu, right at Post Mudki. If you're on Zira Road in the Ferozepur district, you aren't far from us. We make interlocking tiles right here on the site. It is a dusty job and the machines make a fair bit of noise. We spend the whole day out in the yard or under the shed. The ground is covered in sand and stone most of the time. We see a lot of tractors and trucks coming through. Making the tiles takes time and we have to wait for them to set properly. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us much. Ferozepur can get quite cold or very hot, so we just work around it. Interstone Interlocking Tiles is just a small local crew. We live nearby so it's a short walk to work. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just show people the stacks of tiles we have ready. People use them for their driveways or paths. It is heavy work, but it's what we know. The neighbors don't mind the noise too much since they're used to it. We keep things humble and just focus on getting the stacks filled up. It is a basic way to earn a living, but we are proud of the piles of tiles we finish each week. We have a small table where we eat our lunch, usually right there in the middle of the yard. The cats from the village sometimes come by looking for scraps. We get our materials from a supplier a few miles away. Sometimes the truck is late, which slows us down.
