Pm Industries & Process Equipments is situated at Gat No. 53 on the Dehu-Alandi Road. This is out in Talawade, part of the Haveli district near Pune. It’s quite a distance from the main city, so it’s a bit quieter out here, though the road gets its fair share of heavy traffic and trucks. The workshop is where we spend most of our time. It’s a large space with high ceilings and plenty of metal around. Dealing with process equipment means there is always something being welded or bolted together. The air smells like oil and iron most days. We have a small office area tucked in one corner, but most of the action happens on the floor. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we are always wiping down the desks. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. Most of our chairs have been here as long as the machines have. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Talawade is an industrial hub, so our neighbors are all doing similar heavy work. We know the guys at the local canteen quite well. There aren't many places to eat around here, so we usually bring our own tiffins from home. It’s a long day’s work and by the time we head home, we are usually pretty tired. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects we have.
