We are based out on Plot No. 10 in the MIDC Industrial Area in Raigad. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the manufacturing and heavy work happens for Smithers Oasis India. The facility is large and focused on production. We don't have the kind of office where people drop by for a chat very often because we are mostly busy with the actual making and shipping of goods. There is a lot of machinery and storage space here. The day starts early for us, usually before the sun gets too hot. It is an industrial setting, so it’s all about efficiency and keeping the lines moving. We have a team that knows exactly what they are doing, and we just let them get on with it. We aren't in a city center with cafes and shops nearby; it is just us and the other industrial plants in the MIDC. It can be quite quiet at night, but during the day it’s full of activity. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the quality is what it needs to be and that the trucks are loaded on time. It is straightforward, hard work, and that is how we like to keep it. We just focus on our daily production targets.
