Ultra Tech Cements Ltd.

We are out here in Bogas Samundram Village, which is part of Tallapalle Taluka. Our spot is at Plot Number 9-34. It's a bit of a drive from the main part of Anantapur District, but it’s where we are set up and it works for us. This place, Ultra Tech Cements Ltd., is basically a hub for the local area. It’s quiet out here compared to the city, which we definitely like. The workers mostly come from the nearby villages around here. We spend our days handling the stock and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly for their trips. It’s a lot of manual labor and the sun can be quite strong in this part of the country during the summer. We don't have any fancy reception area or a coffee machine. It's mostly just the yard and the storage space where we keep everything. Sometimes the roads around here get a bit rough after a heavy rain, which makes the transport part of the job a bit tricky for the drivers. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of the people in the Taluka just know we're here at the plot. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the cement where it needs to go. We keep an eye on the clock, but the work usually dictates when we actually get to finish for the day. It's a practical business run by people who live right around here.
