Maa Mangra Hard Works

We are set up in the Main Market area of Angul, right near the Thermal Power Station. It’s a location that stays busy because of the plant nearby. Most of our days are spent working with our hands, dealing with whatever hard works need finishing. Whether it’s metal or hardware, there is always something to be hammered, cut, or fixed. The shop is a bit dusty and loud, but that’s just the nature of the work we do. We don't have an air-conditioned office; we’re out where the machines are. People from the market or the power station stop by when they need something specific made or repaired. It’s a lot of physical labor and we usually end the day pretty tired. The area around the power station has a lot of heavy traffic, so there is always noise from the trucks moving coal or parts. We’ve been here for a while and most of the locals know where to find us. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people just know we’re here in the market. It’s a simple life, working with tools and making sure the jobs get finished for our customers. Sometimes the heat in Angul is tough, but we just drink some water and keep at it. Our shop isn't much to look at, just a practical space for us to do our work and keep our equipment stored safely. It is just what we know how to do day after day.
