Ravi Industries

Ravi Industries is tucked away at GAT No 171 in Rupi Nagar. If you know the Talawade Road area in Pune, you know it's a hub for small and medium shops. We’ve got our unit right there. It’s a busy spot with lots of noise from the nearby factories and our own machines. We do various industrial jobs here. Most of the guys on the floor have lived in Pune their whole lives. We started small and just kept adding a bit here and there. The shop floor is usually covered in bits of metal or whatever we are working on that day. It's not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw the sign on Talawade Road. Our hours are pretty standard, but we stay late if a project needs finishing. The office is just a small corner with a desk and some old files. We prefer being out where the work happens. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we have some fans going. We've been at this GAT number for a long time now. It’s home for the business. We just take the orders as they come and try to do a decent job for the folks who ask. It’s a plain business without any of those modern bells and whistles.
