Shri Manjunath Steels

You can find us at the Mursawar Matt Complex on Tadapatri Gali. It’s a narrow street, but it’s where a lot of the steel trading happens. Shri Manjunath Steels has been in this spot for a good while. The complex is older, and our space is filled with different types of steel products. It can be a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of metal. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and helping people load their vehicles. It’s physical work and it gets quite dusty. We don’t have a lot of help, so it’s usually just a couple of us doing everything. Tadapatri Gali is always full of activity, with carts and trucks trying to squeeze through. It makes for a loud work environment, but we don’t mind. We keep our records in a simple ledger. We aren't into using a lot of fancy software or computers if we can avoid it. People come to us because they know we are here and we have what they need. There is no corporate talk here, just straight dealing. Sometimes we share a tea with the other shop owners on the street. It’s a tight-knit group in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders ready on time every day. The street gets muddy when it rains, so we have to watch where we step with the heavy loads.
