Our shop is located right near the Parigi Bus Stop, which stays busy from early morning until late at night. Being by the Ysr Bus Stand means we hear the engines idling and the conductors shouting all day long. It's a small space, filled up with different things on the shelves. We usually start the day by pulling up the shutters and dusting off the counters because the road brings in a lot of grit. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a bit, and we have to hurry to get the boxes inside. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to it by now. There’s a bench outside where people wait for their buses and sometimes they come in just to get out of the heat for a minute. We spend a lot of time organizing the stock and checking what’s running low. The light inside is a bit dim, but we know where everything is kept. When the afternoon sun starts beating down on the Ysr Bus Stand area, it gets quite stuffy, so we keep a small fan going behind the counter. It isn't anything fancy, just a local store where we do our business and watch the commuters go by. We’ve seen the same faces for years. It’s just how things go here near the bus stop. We keep the doors open and just handle whatever the day brings.
