Venture Automotive Tooling India is based in the Sri City Sez over in Tada. If you’ve ever been to Sri City, you know it’s a huge area with lots of different companies all lined up. We’ve got our own spot here where we focus on tooling for the automotive world. It involves making metal parts and checking that they work, but the environment is still very much a workshop. We spend our hours checking measurements and making sure everything fits together just right. The Sez has its own rules and a certain way of doing things, so we follow that. It’s a long way from the bigger cities, which makes for a different kind of workday. We don’t have any flashy signs or big marketing slogans hanging up. It’s just us and our machines. Most days involve a lot of standing and checking details. The team is a mix of people who have been doing this for years and some newer faces. We eat our lunches together and talk about the weekend. We don't use any corporate talk here. If something isn't working, we just fix it. Tada can be quite dry and dusty, but inside the facility, we keep things as clean as we can for the work we do. It’s a quiet place. We show up, we do the tooling, and we go home. That's the whole story. No bells and whistles, just the job at hand every single day.
