Our place is out in Vill- Hatatganj. It’s a quiet area near Post- Banglani. Being in Swarupnagar means we are quite far from the big city noise, which is nice in its own way. Firoj Ahmed Mondal & Co. has been operating from this part of North 24 Parganas for a good bit of time. The roads here get a little muddy when it rains heavily, but we still show up and get the work done. We deal with whatever comes our way daily. It’s mostly just us and a few locals who help out. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our records and meet people. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We know most of the people in the village. It’s a small community and everyone knows where our office is located. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the door and our desks inside. It’s a simple life running a business here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we don't see the point. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay busy. Sometimes the mosquitoes get bad in the evening, so we try to wrap up before it gets too dark. It's just a regular business in a regular village.
