Thota Sirisha Foundation

Down in Mellachervu Village, specifically at H No 11-207, is where you’ll find the Thota Sirisha Foundation. We’re right in the Mellachervu Villagehuzurnagar Assembly area of Suryapet Dt. It’s a different pace out here compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Most people around the village know us or at least know the house number. We spend our time working on bits and pieces that help out the local community. It’s nothing fancy, just a room with some tables and chairs where we can meet and talk. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that’s just life in the village. We handle whatever comes our way, whether it's helping a neighbor or organizing something for the local kids. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who care about how things are going in Suryapet. People drop by without much warning, and we usually have time for a quick chat. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name after a week. We don’t go in for big marketing or any of those polished presentations. We just show up and do the work that’s right in front of us. It’s honest and simple. Some days are slow, especially when the sun is high, but we keep at it because this is home. It's a quiet life but we stay busy enough with the locals and the various needs that pop up throughout the month. We do our best here in Mellachervu.
