M/S.Chilaka Uma

Musivoddu Singaram is a quiet village, and that is exactly where you will find us at H.No.2-24. The official name we use is M/S. Chilaka Uma. Our post office is located in Guduguntlapalem, which is just a short trip away from here. Nereducherla mandal is the area where we belong. Life here moves a bit slower than it does in the big cities nearby. I start my day by opening the windows wide to let the fresh air in. The view outside is mostly green fields and some trees. We handle various tasks from this small building. It is not a corporate setup at all; it is just a room with the essentials we need. I have a sturdy table and a few stools for whoever comes in to see me. Most of our neighbors are farmers, and they stop by to ask for help with things or just to say hello. I keep a careful record of everything in a thick green book. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so I just go and sit on the porch for a bit. It is a community where everyone knows everyone else’s business. I like being at house number 2-24 because it is easy for people to find me without getting lost. We don't do much in the way of marketing because people just know we are here. If you need something, you just walk over and knock on the front door. That is how it works in Musivoddu Singaram.
