This is the government arts and science college located in Kodad, which is in the Nalgonda district. Since it is a government institution, things are run in a very specific way. We have a large building that has been here for many decades. It shows its age in some places, with the paint fading and the old style of architecture. We get a lot of students from the surrounding rural areas who come here for their higher education. It’s a busy place, especially during the admission season. The hallways are long and have that old school smell of paper and chalk. We don't have any fancy modern equipment in every room. We mostly rely on the traditional ways of teaching with blackboards and lectures. The campus has some trees where students sit and talk between their classes. It’s a very straightforward environment. We deal with a lot of administrative work and government forms every single day. There aren't any flashy advertisements for this college. People know it exists because it’s been the main place for education in Kodad for a long time. The staff is a mix of people who have worked here for years. We just try to keep the classes running on schedule and help the students get their degrees. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is important for the community here. We just show up and do what needs to be done.
