Kranthi High School

Down here on Janpahad Road in Neredcharla, things move a little slower than in the big cities. Kranthi High School is situated at this specific plot, 11479/B3/2001, which sounds more complicated than it actually is. It’s just a regular building where the local kids from Nalgonda come to study. We get a lot of students from the surrounding villages who travel a bit to get here. The road outside can get dusty, especially when the tractors go past. We’ve got a mix of young and old teachers, some who have been here for decades. The classrooms are simple, with wooden benches and blackboards that have seen better days. We don't have much in terms of extra stuff, but the kids seem happy enough. During the harvest season, the attendance drops a bit because families need help, but that’s just life in a place like Neredcharla. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's just a school for the community. We have our annual day where everyone gathers around, and that's probably the biggest thing that happens all year. The rest of the time, it's just lessons and the sound of children playing in the yard. We’ve stayed in this spot for a long time, and we know most of the people who walk past our gates. It’s a quiet, hardworking kind of place for the 508218 area. We aren't looking to change much, just keep the doors open for the next group.
