We’re based in Vidhyanagar, specifically at 1-6-141/7/2/D in Suryapet. Nalgonda is a big district, but this corner of Vidhyanagar is where we spend our days. The office is a straightforward place for the chit fund business. It’s not on the main highway, so it’s a bit quieter, which is nice for getting work done. We have a few desks and some benches for people to sit on. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby streets. We spend a lot of time going over the chit cycles and making sure everything matches up. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning or glass partitions. It’s just us and the ledger books. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just open the windows and keep going. Suryapet can get really hot, so we usually have some cold water ready for anyone who walks in. The building itself is just a regular structure like the ones around it. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a huge sign for people to find us. It’s just a routine. We come in, do the paperwork for the chits, talk to the members, and that’s it. It’s a very local operation, nothing too big or complicated about it.
