My name is Bhanu and I run my small business from No.188/11 in Mattampally. It is just me here doing all the work by myself most of the time. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy office building with a receptionist out front. I handle everything from the first phone call to the final bit of labor that needs doing. I’ve lived in Mattampally for a long time and decided to start this individual venture because I like the idea of being my own boss. The space at No.188/11 is basically my home and my workspace all in one. It can get a little crowded with all my tools and paperwork spread out on the main table but I know exactly where everything is kept. Some days I am very busy and the phone doesn't stop ringing while other days are quiet enough that I can catch up on my cleaning and organizing. I don't do any big advertising campaigns because most people around here just know me or heard about me from a neighbor who lived nearby. I try to keep things simple and just focus on the task that is right in front of me. It’s a quiet life but I like the freedom it gives me to do things my own way. Dealing with customers directly is nice because I get to know people in the community. I just want to do a decent job and make sure the bills are paid at the end of every month.
