Dairy

Out here in Vig Kadirenigudem Mandal, specifically at Athmakur M Dist near Post Mogilipaka, we run this dairy. It is a long address for a simple place. Life here revolves around the animals and the clock. The cows do not care about weekends or holidays, so we are always here. The mornings start very early, usually while it is still pitch black outside. We get the milking done and wait for the cans to be picked up. It is a lot of physical labor, cleaning stalls and hauling feed. The air always smells like hay and cattle. It is a quiet part of the world, though the cows make plenty of noise when they are hungry. We have lived in this district all our lives. This dairy has been part of the family for a long time. We do not have a big office or any fancy equipment, just the basics that get the job done. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when the rains turn the yard into a mud pit. But we just put on our boots and keep moving. We know all the local farmers around Mogilipaka. We talk about the rain and the price of grain. It is not an easy way to make money, but it is what we know how to do. We do not have a name other than just the Dairy. People around here know where we are if they need anything. It is just our home and our life.
