We are out in Wadhwancity at Plot No 3004 in the Gidc Estate, Phase-4. If you’ve ever been to this part of Gujarat, you know it can get really dry and windy. The estate is a big place with lots of different factories. At Onetape India Pvt Ltd, we specialize in making tapes, so the smell of glue and plastic is something we deal with every day. It’s a lot of big rolls being cut down into smaller ones. The machines are quite old but they still do the job just fine. We have a small office tucked into the corner of the warehouse where we handle all the paperwork. It’s usually a bit dusty in there no matter how much we clean. We spend most of our time on the factory floor making sure everything is running okay. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our business comes from people who have been buying from us for years. Sometimes the raw material costs go up and we have to figure out how to manage that, which is always a bit of a headache. We just take things one day at a time. The walk from the main gate to our plot is a bit long, so most of us bring our bikes. It’s just a regular industrial job in a busy part of the city, and we are happy to keep it simple.
