Shoes Tower

Shoes Tower is right in the middle of the Main Market in Surendranagar. If you are coming by the metro, the best thing to do is look for Pillar No. 363. We are very close to that spot. Being near the Ramesh Nagar Metro Station makes it easy for us to get to work, but the noise of the trains is something we hear all day long. The market is always crowded. There are people everywhere and the smell of street food is always in the air around the entrance. Our shop is in a building that is a bit narrow. We have boxes piled up almost to the ceiling in the back area. It can be a bit of a struggle to find things sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. We have been here for a few years now and have seen the market change. Some shops close and new ones open, but we are still here at Pillar 363. The stairs are a little steep and the lighting inside could be better, but it is a real place where work happens every day. We do not have a marketing department or fancy brochures. We just show up every morning and open the shutters. The other shopkeepers around us are good people. We often share a cup of tea or help each other out if someone needs change for a big note. It is a busy, noisy, and honest way to make a living.
