Arihant Exim Corporation is located in Mahavir Chember. We are right opposite Kuwadia Chember in the Mehta Market area. If you know Mehta Market, you know it’s a very old-school, busy place with a lot of history. It isn't the cleanest or the quietest part of the city, but it is where all the real trade happens. Our office in Mahavir Chember is usually buzzing with activity from early in the morning. We deal with all sorts of export and import goods, and being in the heart of the market makes that easier in some ways and harder in others. The noise of the trucks and the loaders is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small team of dedicated people who don't mind the dust or the heat of the market. We don't have any fancy air conditioning systems that actually work all the time, so we usually just keep the windows open. Our days are filled with checking stock, talking to vendors, and making sure the lorries are loaded correctly. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We’ve been in Mehta Market for a long time and we know most of the other shop owners and traders around here. We don't try to be something we’re not; we’re just a local business trying to make sure our clients get what they ordered. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
