Our place is over at the Sri Sri Gaushala Compound. If you are near the Gokul Park Hotel or the gas godown, you are very close. Jintan Udhyog Nagar is where all the noise is. We have been here a long time, though the name on the door changed a bit. It used to be Mistry Laxman Kadva Machines but we shortened it recently. The workshop is always full of metal and oil. My sons and I spend most of our time fixing things or running the machines. It gets very loud and dusty inside the compound. Sometimes the cows from the gaushala nearby make a bit of noise too. It is a strange mix of things but we like it. The floor is stained from years of work and we don't bother cleaning it too much. We have a few old desks where we keep the invoices and the drawings. They are piled high with papers that we should probably sort out one day. We don't have a receptionist or anyone to answer the phones, so if it rings, one of us just wipes his hands and picks it up. The trucks come in and out all day long, making it hard to hear sometimes. We eat our lunch together in the small room at the back. It is just a family business trying to get the orders done on time. We don't do anything fancy, just the work that needs doing.
