Kiva Ceramic Private Limited

Our place, Kiva Ceramic Private Limited, is out on Navagam Road. We are at Survey Number 43, Paiky 1. It’s in the Amrapar area of Thangadh. If you’ve ever been to Surendranagar, you know this part is famous for ceramics. The road out here can be a bit bumpy with all the heavy trucks passing by, but we are used to it by now. The facility is mostly where we do the heavy lifting. It's a practical setup, meant for work rather than looking pretty. We have the kilns and the storage areas all laid out across the site. The air always has that smell of clay and earth. Most of the guys working here are local from the village or nearby towns. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot, though in the summer it’s always hot anyway. We spend our time checking the pieces and making sure everything is packed right for shipping. It is hard work, and your clothes usually end up with some dust on them by lunch. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings. Usually, we just talk over the noise of the machines. It’s a simple way of living and working. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while. There isn't much to do out here besides the ceramic work, but it keeps the whole community going. We just focus on making things that people actually need for their homes.
