Harsora Moter Body Works

Harsora Moter Body Works is right on the Lakhi Road Bypass. If you are driving past, you will see us right opposite the Atul Motor Showroom. It is a noisy place because of all the heavy trucks and cars flying by on the bypass. We do a lot of metal work here, mostly building or fixing the bodies of vehicles. There is always the sound of hammers hitting steel and the bright flash of the welding machine. My eyes get tired by the end of the day from watching the sparks. We have some old machinery that grumbles a lot when we turn it on, but it still gets the job done. The ground is covered in metal scraps and oil stains. It is a tough kind of job, and our clothes are always dirty with grease and iron dust. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner with a calendar from three years ago. Sometimes a driver will stop by and tell us stories from the road while we fix a dent in his truck. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn until the streetlights come on. The bypass is always busy, so there is never a dull moment. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal in front of us. The rain makes the bypass a mess sometimes, but we keep working under the tin shed anyway. It is just the way things go when you have work to do.
