Our facility is at Plot No. 1704 in Phase-IV of the G.I.D.C. in Wadhwan. It’s right in the middle of the industrial estate. Because we deal with flavors and fragrances, our building has a very distinct smell that changes depending on what we are making that day. It could be anything from vanilla to something more spicy. We have a lab area where we do all the mixing and testing. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s a functional space with a lot of stainless steel equipment and glass jars. We wear aprons and masks while we work to keep things clean. The area in Wadhwan gets extremely dusty and hot, so we spend most of our time indoors. We have a small office at the front where we handle the orders and the shipping documents. It’s a small team, and we mostly just talk to each other to get things done. We don't have a marketing department or a big sales team. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with other businesses. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment because you can't have one smell leaking into the next batch. It’s a meticulous kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the flavors and scents we produce are consistent. It’s a quiet, steady life in the G.I.D.C.
