Sunshine Fastners

We are based in the G.I.D.C. area at Plot No 101/1-A. If you know the industrial zone, you know it’s a lot of metal, concrete, and trucks. We make fasteners like screws, bolts, and all those small parts that hold things together. The machines make a rhythmic clicking sound all day long that you can hear from the street. It's actually kind of peaceful once you get used to the noise. We have several rows of machines and a few guys watching over them to make sure nothing jams or breaks. We keep the finished goods in heavy burlap bags or plastic bins stacked against the wall. It’s heavy work, moving those around throughout the day. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone wearing a suit. We just sell to the people who need what we make. The air always has a bit of oil in it from the lubrication we use on the metal threads. We’ve been in this same spot for several years now. The G.I.D.C. is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is arriving for their shifts. We have a small corner for the paperwork, but most of the action is on the shop floor where the heat is. We try to keep our head down and just do the work. It’s not complicated, but it has to be done right or the bolts won't fit the nuts. We check the sizes with gauges several times an hour to ensure everything is correct.
