Our place is located within the APMC Campus in Lakhtar, right here in the Surendranagar district of Gujarat. Pramod D. Raka is usually around handling things at this HCC Ltd. SBC Project office. Being in the APMC area means there is always a lot of activity around us, especially during the market hours. It’s a dusty, busy environment, but it keeps us on our toes. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our maps of the project pinned to the walls and a couple of old computers that we use for the logs. Since we are out here in 382775, we deal with a lot of local logistics. The sun gets really hot in this part of the state, so we try to get the outdoor stuff done early before retreating back to the office to handle the billing and the site reports. It is a no-nonsense kind of setup. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. We are just engineers and supervisors trying to make sure the concrete sets right and the workers have what they need. Sometimes the trucks get delayed, and we have to sit around and wait, which gives us time to clean up the desks. We've been here for the duration of this project, and it feels like a second home now. Just a regular bunch of guys doing construction work in a hot, busy part of Gujarat every day.
