Flamica Auto Industries

Wadhwan City is where you will find us, right at plot 280 in the GIDC area. Flamica Auto Industries has been operating out of this shed for years. GIDC is always a noisy place with factories running 24 hours a day, so you get used to the constant background hum. Our space is filled with heavy machinery and the smell of cut metal and coolant. It’s not a place for clean clothes or polished shoes. We all wear our work gear and get right into it every morning. The floor is made of thick concrete to hold the weight of the presses. During the summer, the heat inside the GIDC sheds can be tough, so we have these huge industrial fans that move the hot air around. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the number 280 on the gate. Most of the people working here are from the local Wadhwan area and have been with us since the start. We don't go in for fancy talk or corporate meetings. We just look at the parts we are making and make sure they look right. Sometimes we sit outside by the gate during break time to catch a little breeze. It’s a basic setup, but it’s our setup. The work is steady and we just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be finished before the next truck arrives for pickup.
