Ajayshanker & Brothers

We are located at Bharat Deep, right in the Jin Plot area. Ajayshanker & Brothers has been a family thing for a long time. My brothers and I run the place together. It can get a bit loud when we all have different ideas about how to do things, but we manage. The Jin Plot area is always moving, lots of trucks and people coming through. Our office isn't much to look at. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of ledgers. We do a bit of everything here. Trading, checking stock, talking to suppliers. It’s not a polished business. There’s usually dirt on the floor from the warehouse and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Some days are long, especially during the harvest seasons or when taxes are due. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our building stays about the same. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a practical way to make a living. We don't spend money on advertising. People know who we are by word of mouth. If you come by Bharat Deep, you’ll see us there. Usually, one of us is on the phone and the other is checking the inventory out back. We try to keep things honest and straightforward without any of that corporate talk.
