Desai Impex

Our office for Desai Impex is at S/1 in Swastik Plaza which is right by Yogi Chowk. It is a very busy area and there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Swastik Plaza has a lot of different shops and businesses so it is a lively place to work. We do import and export stuff which means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists on the computer. Our office is small and filled with samples of things we have traded over the years. It is a bit disorganized if you look at the shelves but we have a system that works for us. We don't have any fancy furniture just some sturdy chairs and a big table for checking documents. Yogi Chowk is a landmark around here so it is easy to tell people where to find us. We often walk down to the street stalls to get tea or a quick snack during the day. We are just a small group of people trying to make a go of it in the trading business. We don't use big words or try to act like a huge corporation. We are just regular folks doing our jobs. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to deal with that stress but most days it is just steady work. There is a tea stall right downstairs that makes good ginger tea.
