Working out of Shikhar Complex on Althan Road keeps us pretty busy most days. We are right there on the ground floor, at C-G/1, so we don't have to deal with elevators, which is a blessing when we are in a hurry. The complex itself is usually buzzing with people going to different shops and offices. Surat-395007 is a decent area to be in, though the parking can be a real headache if you don't get here early in the morning. Our phone, 0261-2262357, rings more than you’d think. Sometimes it's just someone asking for directions because they are lost on Althan Road. We spend our time managing things, checking records, and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. It’s a lot of paperwork and technical stuff that doesn't look very exciting from the outside. The office has that specific smell of old paper and ink. We have a few desks pushed together and some chairs that have seen better days. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s where we do our business. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Tuesdays, the desk gets covered in notes and files. We aren't here to impress anyone with a big lobby. We are just here to do the job we are supposed to do. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big shipment or a report due, but that’s just part of the routine here in Gujarat.
