Wave Animation

Wave Animation is over at Parvat Patiya in Surat. We’re in Shop No 249 at Midas Square, which is pretty close to Capital Square. If you come by, you’ll mostly see a bunch of people staring at monitors in a darkish room. That’s just how animation work goes. It’s a lot of sitting and clicking mice for hours. We aren't some big flashy studio with a fancy entrance. It’s just a practical space where we do our work. The area around Parvat Patia is always moving, so there’s plenty of places to grab a quick snack when we’re taking a break. We started this because we liked drawing and making things move on a screen, and it just turned into a business over time. Some of the projects take forever, and sometimes the computers crash right when you don’t want them to. That’s just part of the job. We don’t really have a big philosophy or anything. We just take the work as it comes and try to get the frames looking right. It’s a lot of trial and error. People come in, we talk about what they need, and then we get back to the screens. It’s quiet in the office most of the time except for the sound of the fans and maybe some music playing in someone's headphones. We just keep at it day by day in our little corner of the square.
