Vm Products

Vm Products is at No. 168 in Shantiniketan Society, near Vraj Chowk. This is in the Sarathana Jakatnaka area. It's a bit of a mix because the society is residential, but we have our setup in one of the units. Our space isn't a big factory; we just make our products right here. Neighbors sometimes complain if we make too much noise in the afternoon, so we try to finish the loudest tasks early in the morning. Vraj Chowk is always buzzing with activity and has plenty of small shops nearby. Our unit is currently filled with raw materials and finished items waiting to be shipped. Things get a bit disorganized when we are rushing to finish a big batch. Instead of a proper office, we have a simple table for bills and a phone. The concrete floor and marked walls show that we do a lot of heavy lifting. We focus more on making the products right than on how the workspace looks. Sarathana Jakatnaka is quite far from the city center, so we mostly work with people on this side of town. It is a steady, quiet life of making things and sending them out one day at a time. We just keep at it and hope for the best. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes it hard to move the goods, but we find a way.
