Vlsi Development Centre

Our place, Vlsi Development Centre, is located at F-4, Amrut Appt. in Damubhai Colony. This is over near the Anjali Crossroads in Vasna, Ahmedabad. Being in an apartment building means it feels more like a home than a regular office, which is fine by us. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, though you hear the traffic from the crossroads if the windows are open. We’ve got our computers set up in what used to be a living room, I think. It gets really hot in Ahmedabad during the summer months, so the AC is always running, and it makes this low humming noise all day long. We work on various VLSI development tasks, mostly just trying to solve problems as they come up. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually take a break in the late afternoon. The stairs up to F-4 are a bit steep, so we’re all getting a workout whether we want one or not. We don't have a big sign outside or anything, so sometimes people have a hard time finding us the first time they visit. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We just focus on the development stuff and try to stay cool in the heat. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for everyone here in Vasna.
