Vivek Fab

Up on the 4th floor of Sai Khati Textile House, you'll find Vivek Fab. We are in units A-4004 and 4005, right across from Harihar Market on Ring Road. It’s a busy part of town, always lots of traffic and people moving around. Being on the 4th floor means we see a lot of the action from above. The elevator is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of fabric and the sound of people working. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone at a desk or moving rolls of cloth around. We’ve been at this Ring Road location for a good while. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We use fans to keep the air moving. Dealing with textiles is dusty work, so there's always a bit of lint in the air. We keep a ledger for all the orders. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't use any high-tech systems for the day-to-day. It’s just us, some basic tools, and a lot of fabric. It’s a solid way to spend the day. We usually close up when the sun goes down.
